A few variations. Initially the customer's wish was to keep the style of the illustration of the first book, so I used simple flat shapes and a limited palette of three colors (like on the first book).
After receiving the sketches, the client asked me to add color. So we got the final version, which retains the illustration style of the first book, but has become more vivid and stands out on the shelf.
The third book of the series is coming out, for which I also created an illustration.
